GOD

There is only one true and living God, eternally existing as three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  There is no division of essence, nature, or being, and there is never any contradiction among the Godhead.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is the only Son of the true God, and through being born of a virgin, living a life totally free from sin, and being crucified for our sin, He defeated Satan and his ultimate weapon (death), and thus secured our reconciliation and salvation back to God.  There are many ways to get to Jesus, but only one way to get to God.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is the fully divine Spirit of God, first mentioned as early as Genesis 1:2, and He is alive and active in the lives of believers. He is an equal part of the triune Godhead, He cultivates our Christian character, He comforts believers, He bestows the spiritual gifts by which we serve God through His church, and He seals the believer unto the day of final redemption.   It is also He who enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

GOD’S GRACE

The unmerited favor of God, also known as grace, cannot be obtained by any works of man; therefore, we also believe that no works of man can remove that grace.

THE BIBLE

The Bible is the final authority in our lives, and we should emulate the Bereans in Acts 17 in building our relationship with Jesus Christ; for those areas in which a solution may not be clear, we search the scriptures even more, and lean upon the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us to the proper solution, understanding and believing that God's present-day guidance will never contradict His written Word, the Bible.

SALVATION

Salvation, like grace, can never be obtained by any human action; confession and repentance are merely steps in the salvation process that was initiated and is now wholeheartedly maintained by the power of God; as much as a “good work” could not obtain a person’s salvation, neither can a person’s “bad work” cause them to lose it.
